Selenite Charging Plate

A hand-cut selenite charging plate, pale and softly grooved, light for its size. Dadi used hers as a resting place for rings, malas and tired crystals, lay your tumbled stones and bracelets on it overnight and lift them off clear in the morning. It is the simplest way to keep a growing collection cleansed, and it rarely needs cleansing itself. Never wash it: selenite draws water in and begins to pit and crumble, so keep it dry and dust it with a soft cloth. Selenite is soft stone, set the plate somewhere flat and safe from knocks. Around 10–12 cm across.
