Amethyst Tumbled Stone

A tumbled amethyst pebble, deep violet and glass-smooth, its colour sitting unevenly through the stone the way natural amethyst does. Dadi kept one on the bedside table for busy minds — people reach for amethyst to slow the thoughts down, unwind in the evening, and let sleep come a little easier. Slip it under a pillow or hold it while you breathe. Rinse briefly in cool water, pat dry, and rest it on selenite or in the moonlight once a month; keep it out of a bright window, as violet fades in long sun. A gentle evening ritual, not a cure.
